I want everyone to be able to use Tyler James Cooking, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, zoom or other assistive technology.
What I’m doing
- Aiming to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
- Page structure with headings and landmarks, so recipes are easy to navigate.
- Menus, search and forms that work with a keyboard.
- Recipe cards with clear ingredient lists and step-by-step instructions, plus a print option.
- Text that can be resized and pages that work on phones.
Known gaps
Some older photos don’t have text descriptions yet, and a few small labels are below the ideal size. I’m working through these.
Tell me about a problem
